Toronto Metropolitan University at Gift + Home Market Show

Die-cut

Toronto Metropolitan University, particularly The Creative School, is one of Canada’s most prestigious educational institutions, offering programs in media, design, and creative industries. With over 75 years of history, the university is renowned for its close collaboration with leaders in culture, entrepreneurship, and industry.

By combining education with practical experience, students at The Creative School have the opportunity to develop their talents in real-world settings, preparing them to become innovative leaders capable of influencing the global creative market. It’s no surprise, then, that this university became a focal point at the GIFT+HOME Market Show, showcasing innovative solutions for personalized sticker creation.

Personalized Stickers in Action: Sticker Builder Tool and Roland Printers

On the first day of the show, Toronto Metropolitan University, in collaboration with Roland DGA Corp. – Canada, showcased the capabilities of personalized sticker creation using the Sticker Builder tool and the advanced Roland VersaStudio BN2-20A printer/cutter. Visitors had the opportunity to design their own unique stickers. Don Ross from Roland DGA Corp. and Abhay Sharma from Toronto Metropolitan University ensured that every attendee could explore both the technological capabilities of the Roland printer and the creative potential of the Sticker Builder tool.

The sticker creation process was incredibly simple and intuitive, which generated significant interest among attendees. Participants designed their stickers using the user-friendly interface of the Sticker Builder tool. Once the design was approved, the sticker was instantly printed on the Roland VersaStudio BN2-20A printer, and high-quality sheets with the finished stickers were handed directly to participants. The process was fully automated, highlighting the exceptional precision and efficiency of the tools used.
