Die-cut, Kiss-cut

The ISA Sign Expo 2025, held from April 23–25, brought together the brightest minds and boldest innovations in the signage and visual communications industry. With thousands of attendees, an expansive show floor, and cutting-edge technology on display, this year’s event offered a dynamic platform for networking, inspiration, and hands-on experience. From large-format printing to digital signage and fabrication solutions, the expo showcased the full spectrum of tools shaping the future of the print and sign world.

Our team was proud to be part of the energy, especially with the Sticker Builder making its mark as a creative hub for visitors. It was amazing to see so many participants explore custom design possibilities, engage with our software firsthand, and share their ideas.

Our brand activation with Roland DGA and ISA Sign Expo was a true crowd-puller — over the course of the event, we completed around 1,200 custom sticker projects using the Sticker Builder tool. The high engagement confirmed what we’ve seen brewing in the industry: stickers are not just trending — they’re becoming a major market segment. From the very first hours, interest exceeded our expectations. We started printing with one Roland BN2-20, but after just two hours, demand pushed us to add a second unit. Even that wasn’t enough — so we expanded production to larger devices, including the TrueVIS VG3-540 and LG-640 UV printer/cutter, ensuring every visitor got to see real-time, high-quality output.

Conversations with attendees gave us valuable insights: many businesses that previously focused on label printing are now entering the sticker market, drawn by its flexibility, creative freedom, and stronger profit margins. This shift reflects a broader trend — where short-run customization and eye-catching design are becoming key differentiators. With tools like Sticker Builder and Roland’s powerful hardware, producing unique, high-impact stickers has never been more accessible.

Custom Holographic Stickers Printing

A standout moment of the activation was the production of holographic stickers, which generated significant attention and excitement. It perfectly demonstrated the versatility of the Sticker Builder — not just in terms of creative freedom, but also its adaptability to different materials. The tool includes a built-in preview for holographic effects, allowing users to see a realistic simulation of the final product before printing on specialty media. This feature is especially valuable for print service providers and their clients, as it builds confidence and clarity before files are submitted. It’s a great example of how intelligent software can enhance and streamline the customization journey from concept to production.
