Die-cut, Kiss-cut

FESPA is an international federation of trade associations established in 1962 through the initiative of the French Association of Printers and seven other European associations. Initially focused on screen printing, FESPA has expanded its scope to encompass digital, textile, and wide-format printing. As a non-profit organisation, it plays a pivotal role in promoting and developing the global printing industry.

FESPA organises exhibitions, conferences, and technical seminars, providing a platform for knowledge exchange among its members. It supports the industry through educational resources, research initiatives, and community outreach programmes, including design competitions and awards. With a membership comprising around 40 national associations, FESPA serves as a key reference point for professionals in the printing sector, contributing to the advancement of printing technologies and practices worldwide.

Die-cut

The Antigro Designer booth, where we showcased our Sticker Builder solution, attracted significant interest from attendees at this year’s FESPA. This clearly demonstrates that the market is in need of tools for sticker personalization – both for individual customer needs and broader applications in the print and design industries. We were thrilled with the number of conversations we had with clients, partners, and people interested in our solutions. It was a great opportunity for us to gather invaluable feedback, which we are already using to further develop our software. These discussions helped us gain a deeper understanding of user needs and gave us a clear direction for how we can continue to improve Sticker Builder’s features to better support our customers’ creativity and productivity.

FESPAVerse: Personalized Print Powered by Community

Die-cut

As part of this year’s FESPA, we also carried out a unique community project – FESPAVerse – organized in collaboration with Roland, FESPA, the FESPA Foundation, and Print Media Centr. The project was based on an interactive experience where participants could design their own stickers featuring “die-cut faces” using the Sticker Builder tool, watch them being printed on Roland printers, and then place them on the dedicated FESPAVerse wall. The project attracted a lot of interest, and participants eagerly created their own stickers. During the event, we printed nearly 500 sheets of stickers.

This engaging and creative activity not only encouraged interaction and socialization among attendees but also offered hands-on exposure to the capabilities of the Sticker Builder and the print quality of Roland devices. We are delighted that the project was so well received – it’s yet another sign that blending technology, design, and community holds incredible potential.
