Sticker Builder at Canadian Printing Awards 2025

Die-cut, Kiss-cut

The 19th annual Canadian Printing Awards Gala, the nation’s leading celebration of print excellence, was held on November 6 at the Palais Royale in Toronto. The event recognizes the highest quality in print production, technological innovation, environmental initiatives, and individual achievements in the printing industry. During a formal gala, awards are presented in numerous categories – including commercial print, production, packaging, labels, magazines, calendars, and special projects – with the winners selected by an independent jury of market experts. The event serves both as a prestigious competition and as a meeting place for industry leaders from across Canada, fostering networking and the exchange of knowledge about the latest trends and technologies in print. This year’s gala brought together print industry leaders from across the country for an evening dedicated to recognition, networking, and shared success.

Die-cut

During this year’s event organized in collaboration with Toronto Metropolitan University, Roland, and PrintAction, the Sticker Builder tool was used to create an interactive activity for participants. There, they could practically explore the secrets of personalization – from designing their own sticker, choosing graphics, colors, and text, all the way to preparing the file for print. Participants had the opportunity to test the sticker creation tool themselves, following the entire production process step by step. Additionally, they were able to see live how their designs were brought to life on the Roland printer, experiencing firsthand the capabilities of modern digital printing and finishing technologies.

The awards show was a fantastic opportunity to deepen knowledge about print personalization and discover interesting solutions. Participants created several hundred sticker designs and received their printed stickers, allowing them to test the Sticker Builder tool in practice in combination with Roland printers.

Sticker Builder performed exceptionally well—we experienced no issues with the software. The setup was a hit with attendees.

Most of the attendees designed stickers with cut-out faces and animal characters, having a lot of fun and enjoying the seamless production process, as well as the fact that they could receive the stickers they had just designed themselves using an intuitive tool.
