Sticker Builder as a Growth Driver:

How Antigro Designer Built a Product Around Real Printshop Needs

Antigro Designer, the Company Behind Sticker Builder

Antigro Designer is a rapidly growing international software development company with a team of professionals who create modern solutions for the personalization of printed products for print shops around the world. It offers white-label web-to-print software tailored to both small businesses and large organizations, including those handling high order volumes. The company stands out for its broad product compatibility, intuitive interface, and delivery of print-ready files adapted to production machines, which helps shorten order fulfillment times.

Antigro Designer created Sticker Builder because the company saw a growing gap between demand for stickers and how most companies can realistically sell them online. Conversations with customers and requests for support with die cut stickers showed that the industry is still dominated by a cumbersome, manual model: the customer uploads a file, then a back and forth cycle of edits and proof approvals begins, which slows everything down and puts extra strain on design teams. As a result, even companies with great printing and cutting equipment often give up on selling stickers online because they don’t want to deal with the manual ping pong of messages and files.

Sticker Builder is a strategic product development focus for Antigro Designer. We see clear value for print shops and e-commerce businesses: a shorter path from a customer’s idea to a print-ready file, less manual work, and faster order fulfillment. That’s why we’re consistently investing in its growth – we will continue improving the tool’s performance, expanding the editor’s capabilities, and delivering features that help our partners scale sticker sales in a repeatable and efficient way.

What the Market Is Looking For – and How Sticker Builder Meets the Need

Nerd Stickers - case study

Sticker Builder was created to structure the buying journey for personalized stickers from click to production in a way that’s customer friendly while remaining operationally lightweight for print shops. The tool automates the key steps of sticker preparation, lets customers personalize the design in a simple interface, and after an order is placed it generates print ready files with the correct cut lines and production settings.

It’s also designed as a white label solution that can be implemented quickly and configured to a company’s materials, requirements, and workflow, so businesses can launch online sticker sales without building the entire process from scratch.

We’ve already acquired customers in 41 countries, and each month we see growing interest in our technology. More and more companies are reaching out with a very specific need: they want to streamline production, reduce manual work, and speed up order fulfillment. At the same time, an increasing number of e-commerce businesses are looking to add personalized stickers to their offering and need a solution that lets them launch quickly and with minimal risk. For us, it’s a clear signal that the market is maturing – and that Sticker Builder is meeting a real demand for scalable sticker sales and production.

For creating Sticker Builder, Antigro Designer was honored with a Pinnacle Award, confirming its real value for the print and personalization industry. This recognition highlights that the tool is not just another feature in a software offering, but a practical innovation that streamlines online sticker sales and automates key steps in the process, from design to a print-ready file.

Sticker Builder Output Files: Technical Specifications and Supported Machines

Sticker Builder generates print-ready files in full compliance with the parameters agreed in advance with the print shop, so they match the requirements of specific machines and workflows. Most commonly these are PDF files, but if needed the system can generate other formats as well. The files can include individual stickers or imposed sticker sheets, depending on how the print shop organizes production. Each file includes cut lines in spotcolor, which eliminates additional prepress work and enables a fully automated workflow. Based on order analysis, the average time to generate a sticker print file is 7.04 seconds.

One of the biggest advantages of our solution is that it delivers print-ready output files compatible with virtually any printing technology and equipment – from printers like Roland and HP Indigo to a wide range of other production environments. The files are generated according to each print shop’s specifications, so they fit seamlessly into its workflow. Sticker Builder generates files with cutlines in a spotcolor, which means no additional prepress work is needed before printing – everything can run fully automatically. For many customers, the setup is integrated so output files are automatically placed into a hot folder and production starts with no manual steps in between.

Sticker Builder 2.0: A Major Update Driven by Market Insights and Customer Needs

Customer conversations, sales meetings, and industry events consistently show that the market is looking for a faster, simpler ordering experience without losing control over pricing, proofing, and customization. Sticker Builder responds to these needs with a streamlined single-view flow that lets users choose options, upload artwork, and instantly preview results, while keeping the editor available only when deeper adjustments are necessary.

After rebuilding Sticker Builder and radically simplifying the entire process, we immediately saw it was a bullseye. Today, customers can simply upload a photo, see an automatically generated design, and approve it without even opening the editor – the editor is now optional for those who want to fine-tune details. And that’s exactly what most users want: to place an order quickly, without unnecessary steps. The impact is clear – the purchase journey is shorter, fewer people drop off along the way, and conversion rates in Sticker Builder have increased noticeably.

Sticker Builder 2.0 gives customers an instant sticker proof and automatically generates print ready files with precise cut lines. On the die cut stickers page, customers choose their order details (quantity, size, material, finishing, and shape), upload a file, and within seconds the tool detects the shape, builds the contour, and displays a finished preview, including mockups on surfaces like a laptop or smartphone.

Unlike the original version, which required customers to go through the editor, the process has been redesigned to be as simple as possible: editing is now optional, so shoppers can approve the proof and check out right away or open the editor only if they want more control. If edits are needed, customers can adjust the outline and use features such as filters, outline colors, clipart, QR codes, or custom text. Once the order is paid, the print shop receives a print-ready file with a cutline in spotcolor, which can be delivered directly to a RIP hot folder or cloud drive or downloaded from the admin panel.

As a Key Account Manager, I stay in constant touch with customers who have implemented our tool, and I regularly hear how much it streamlines day-to-day operations in print shops. They especially value the automatic preparation of print-ready files and the auto-proofing flow – customers see the final preview immediately, approve the design, and production can start quickly without manually sending proofs for approval. At the same time, print shops appreciate having full control over the process: when needed, our tool also allows them to offer an additional manual proof, particularly for more complex designs. This gives customers extra confidence and often increases their willingness to place an order.

Sticker Builder in Practice: Creative Initiatives Powered by Sticker Builder

In 2025, Antigro Designer showcased Sticker Builder through hands-on event activations where attendees could design their own stickers and pick up the printed results on site minutes later. At ISA Sign Expo, in partnership with Roland DGA, the team completed around 1,200 custom sticker projects, scaling production rapidly from a single BN2-20 to additional devices including the TrueVIS VG3-540 and LG-640 due to overwhelming demand, with holographic stickers drawing particular attention thanks to the built in effect preview.

At FESPA, Sticker Builder became part of the FESPAVerse community project, where participants created die cut faces stickers, watched them printed on Roland devices, and added them to a dedicated wall, with nearly 500 sticker sheets produced during the event. At RemaDays in Warsaw, at the SICO Print Solutions booth, visitors tested Sticker Builder using ready made templates (including AI face cutouts plus Valentine’s and space themed designs) and followed the live production process on Mimaki printers, taking home their personalized stickers as a keepsake. At Dscoop Edge Long Beach, Antigro Designer demonstrated end to end personalization from predefined shapes to fully custom die cut designs, adding an extra “wow” factor with personalized die cut stickers and magnets created from attendees’ pre uploaded selfies, helping them experience the final product and understand the full production workflow.

Sticker Builder really creates a buzz at events – we can see it in people’s reactions and the number of conversations at our booth. In 2025, at events such as Dscoop Edge 2025, FESPA 2025, ISA Sign Expo 2025, and RemaDays 2025, we ran engaging activations where attendees could test the tool live and experience the full process – from designing in the creator all the way to real production. The best part was that it ended with something tangible: participants walked away with printed stickers they had designed themselves. It’s a great demonstration of how quickly and intuitively sticker sales can be launched – and how much Sticker Builder simplifies the workflow on the print shop side. Going forward, we plan to continue these kinds of activations, because they’re the most direct way to showcase the product’s value in practice.

What further highlights Sticker Builder’s potential is that universities use it at events as a simple, engaging experience that combines creativity with real time printing.

At the Kinugasa Art Village Festival in Kyoto, participants scanned a QR code, uploaded a photo of themselves, a friend, or even a pet, and the tool automatically cut out the face and placed it into an artistic template inspired by classical art, after which the stickers were printed and cut on site. Meanwhile, Toronto Metropolitan University showcased Sticker Builder at trade shows and academic events as an example of print workflow automation, where guests designed stickers in an intuitive interface and immediately collected finished sticker sheets. In these activations, the tool becomes a bridge between education, culture, and industry, delivering a tangible result in minutes and demonstrating the strong potential of personalization in modern printing.
